Trends I Would Not Invest in 2024

When it comes to fashion, I am pretty frugal. I will not invest in something that isn’t timeless. I don’t like anything too flashy, label heavy, or trendy. So, when it comes to trends, I am very hesitant! Here are current trends that I definitely would not invest in:

Mesh shoes:

This is one of the HOTTEST shoe trends, but I am not sure I get it. It’s kind of like open-toe booties. What is the point? Give me a classic ballet flat, leather, or a mary-jane all day long. But to spend upwards of $900 on a see-through shoe that most likely won’t be “on trend” for long feels crazy to me. I would opt for a leather flat instead, and there are silhouettes for whatever your personal style may be! Go funkier with a stud or a big buckle, or classic pointy toe or Mary Jane style.
