My Favorite Holiday
My mom always made Easter extra special. These core memories have stuck with me throughout the years. I have tried to replicate this joy for my children, and they always express how much they love Easter. I can’t quite compete with my mom’s Easter decor. But, I DO have the egg dyeing, Easter outfits, treats, and pretty amazing easter baskets down. Give me all the pastels, bunnies, and hints of Spring!
I go a little over the top on the Easter baskets. Here is a parenting hack: you can always fill their baskets with things they need! New sandals, swimwear, toiletry or cosmetic refills, and then throw in a few fun extras. I know that buying for teens is overwhelming, so I am going to share a list of my kid-approved items.
Check out my favorite baskets! Here AND here and here
The items below are all Viv approved! She is obsessed with the 5 Sens fragrance line, which is a “clean” line of fragrances, a monogram makeup or toiletry bag, Hally Hair perfume smells BEYOND, I love it so much. Great for no-wash days! And we both can’t stop using the Tarte Marajuca Juicy Lip glosses. The cherry tops are a cute touch!

This mini digital camera is SO fun, a great gift for both boys and girls.
Jellycat’s are a must especially at Easter! Find them at your local gift or toy stores, because they are always sold out online. I get mine at Paper Source, Rabbit Ladders, Bella Beach Kids or Tabularasa in MB
Kulani Kini’s is the hot new swim brand. This is on Viv’s wishlist this year! They run true to size.
Sandals are always a good basket stuffer. Viv just got these from Target and loves them! She’s super picky and hard to please, so this was a win! SHOP HERE
We love the rubber birks, we now wear these instead of flip flops. So much more comfortable! I have 2 pairs, and wear them non-stop
Aerie has the cutest stuff right now! I love their pajamas and their swim/beachwear.
For the boys, Chubbies is a great swimwear option. These have a really cute printed liner.
Cologne is always a great gift. This is Julian’s current fave (16 year old boy approved).

I don’t love to put a bunch of junky stuff they will never use, but a fun toy or 2 is always a hit. Here are a few good ones; NeeDoh, SkipBall, and Aqua Hockey for the pool.
My kids will maybe get 1 chocolate bunny, and then the candy of course is Swedish Candy! You can buy Sockerbit online…
