Let’s think back to the summer of our childhood. The thing I most looked forward to was sleeping in, lazy mornings with a bowl of cereal + watching Days of Our Lives, possibly a trip to the community pool, sunbathing in my backyard, bowling with my friends, and trips to Valley Fair Amusement Park. We didn’t have cell phones. We had to create the fun. Most of the summer was just spent doing simple things! Riding bikes around our neighborhood, playing in the hose, slip and slide, ice cream trucks, neighborhood games, and being out past sunset.
