Back in February, I hit a roadblock.
I had been on an incredible stretch of getting back into workouts. I was taking pilates, and sculpt classes, and I became obsessed. I had not worked out at a gym since everything closed during the pandemic in 2020. Needless to say, I was really missing group fitness! I was rejuvenated!
But in February something happened and my hip pain returned. I think it was a combo of heavy stress + hard workouts + not stretching enough. I couldn’t believe it, I just wanted to cry. All of my hard work to feel good again, GONE in an instant.
I had been through this before, so I started to do all the things. I went right to the physical therapist who would utilize massage, cupping, Neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and stretching. It was when I re-incorporated acupuncture that the healing sped up. I have found this combo extremely helpful whenever I have had an injury.
When I started to feel better, I decided to ease myself into the gym. And I have been able to quickly get back to where I started using the 20/10/3 method!
