From the time we started Health House, up until about 2016 I lived in my workout leggings. I would get dressed to workout, go to a 9 or 10 am class, would run errands after class, and do some work, and at that point, I was in my workout clothes until pickup.
Personally, nothing makes me feel worse than being in workout clothes all day.
As I hit mid-40s I have realized how much better I feel getting dressed. I have so many nice things sitting in my closet. Why wait until a dinner out, or a special occasion to wear them? If I am showering in the morning, I am not putting on leggings. I am getting dressed!!!
If you are wearing workout wear 24/7, no shame in that game. It is so comfortable!!! I get it. But, if you love clothes. If you love what’s in your closet, it may be time to breakup with your leggings (outside of workouts, of course)
I find that I feel better about myself when I am showered, and dressed in “real clothes”. I don’t wash and style my hair everyday, but I do my best to put on an outfit, and light makeup
